Great little microwave! Reviews Frigidaire FFCM0724LW Microwave Oven

I don't have much counter space so my microwave needs to sit on top of the fridge. This Frigidaire FFCM0724LW Microwave Oven is perfect for the reheating that I use it for. To the person who set you can't clear it you just have to hit the stop button twice and that clears it.

This Frigidaire FFCM0724LW microwave is one of the smallest and lightest we could find that actually worked. It is very, very light -- much more so than the other microwaves of its same size. The only drawback from my former "built-in" is the lower power: 800 watts vs the 1,000 watts of the old one. So I have to add 20% to all of the cooking times. No problem.
  • White 0.7 cu. ft. capacity
  • 700 watts; Ready-Select controls
  • 9.6 inch diameter glass turntable
  • 10 power levels; 23 Touch Pad controls
  • 4 Auto Cook options; 4 Auto Reheat options
This Frigidaire FFCM0724LW appliance is just right for "light" cooking. It takes a few minutes longer to heat food items because the wattage is lower than other micros. Mine came with an informative instruction booklet...I now use paper towels to cover my food, and rarely use plastic wrap.

Seems to keep the oven cleaner. And I just learned that one should never cook chicken with bones in a microwave, which may be what caused my last oven to short out. You need to be gentle with it.

It holds all of my smaller casserole containers and dinner plates just fine. I don't mind pulling and pushing the door open and close. Again be gentle...no need to slam or yank the door. There are several cooking features listed in the instructions. So far, I am just using the basics, and am very satisfied with the Frigidaire FFCM0724LW Microwave Oven results, even though it may take a little longer to cook.
